By creating a Vault account you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Description of Service
Vault by FIRE Terminal is a secure digital estate dashboard that allows users to document financial accounts, real estate, insurance policies, legal documents, business assets, and key contacts. Users may invite up to two read-only viewers — a Vault Guardian and a Legal Contact.
Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You are responsible for the accuracy of information entered into your Vault
- You must be 18 years or older to create an account
- You may not share your account credentials with others
Vault Guardian and Legal Contact Access
- By inviting a Vault Guardian or Legal Contact you authorize them to view your Vault data on a read-only basis
- You may revoke this access at any time from your dashboard
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the consent of the person you invite before entering their contact information
Subscription and Billing
- Vault is a paid subscription service
- Billing is handled securely through Stripe
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact [email protected]
Data and Privacy
- Your use of Vault is also governed by our Privacy Policy
- We take reasonable measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security
- You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of information you enter
Prohibited Uses
- You may not use Vault for any unlawful purpose
- You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' vaults
- You may not use automated tools to scrape or extract data from Vault

- Vault is not a legal service and does not provide legal advice
- Vault is not a financial advisory service
- Information stored in Vault does not constitute a legal document
- We recommend consulting an attorney for estate planning advice
Limitation of Liability
- FIRE Terminal LLC is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of Vault
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months
Changes to Terms
- We may update these terms at any time
- We will notify you of significant changes by email
- Continued use of Vault after changes constitutes acceptance
Governing Law
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California
- Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California
